You don’t have to keep dealing with this alone
Something needs to change, and you don’t have to face it alone.
Phase #1
The first part of our ministry is based upon the realization that God is knocking at our heart’s door, seeking an intimate relationship with us. His knock is relentless, but we must take the initiative to open the door and accept Him into our lives. When we make this active decision to accept Him into our hearts, we symbolically place our hand into His hand. When our hand in is in His hand, we commit to keep it from sin. He will never leave us, and His hand will hold ours as long as we allow Him to.
Phase #2
The second part of our ministry is based upon giving those who are strong the opportunity to help the next person. We place a hand in God’s hand, and the other hand in that of others who is struggling. In so doing, we exemplify the love of Christ towards our brethren. Pornography is presumably satan’s greatest stronghold on today’s generation, and with this ministry we can help each other up and forward, finding freedom by opening our hearts to God.
Pornography is reportedly viewed by 61% of the general population. 73% of teenagers, specifically, consume porn regularly. The biggest problem? We aren’t facing the issue. Reportedly, 7% of pastors say their churches have a ministry regarding this struggle. The porn industry is rapidly growing and developing, and are we ready for it? The VR Pornography industry is expected to exceed $1 Billion in 2026. With these developments, porn inevitably becomes more dangerous than ever, presumably becoming more addicting than ever before. The porn industry is currently a $100 Billion industry.
This having been stated, we realize that this IS REAL, but so is OUR GOD. We, at Hand In Hand Ministry, want to help men find freedom, by finding God. Revelations 3:20 states that God is knocking at our hearts door, and we need only to accept it. Have you accepted it? Have you committed to placing your hand in His? Let Him in, place your hand in His, and it is no longer available for evil. God will never let you go, so long as you allow Him to hold you.
Those of us that have struggled previously, and have now found freedom are called to help our brethren. Romans 15:1-2 commands us who are strong to be considerate of others, and work to build them up. This can be as simple as placing a hand in the hand of a struggling brother, and holding them accountable as to their walk with Christ - HAND. IN. HAND.
